Keynote Biography:
Host of the 2007 IGF awards, Andy Schatz founded Pocketwatch Games, creators of the acclaimed indie ecosystem-building game, Venture Arctic. After working for 7 years under the thumb of the large-scale videogame development world (where he wrote the first Xbox Live code to ship to the public), Andy decided to go 'indie'. His first title, Wildlife Tycoon: Venture Africa, was built in 10 months on a budget of $8,000 and has sold over 70,000 copies worldwide.
